Long Stratton Village Hall Health & Safety Policy
This policy confirms how the Long Stratton Village Hall Management Committee manages health and safety at Long Stratton Village Hall.
This policy applies to all users of the hall, the Trustees, contractors and sub contractors as well as visitors.
The Committee will ensure:
- We will keep the Village Hall and it’s environment a safe place to be where reasonably possible.
- We will keep all users and hirers up to date with information that impacts health and safety where possible including any concerns or incidents that may impact them directly.
- We comply with all legislation and regulatory advice in respect of health and safety.
- We use professionals to complete any work on the Village Hall where required from a legal or regulatory perspective.
- We monitor health and safety on a regular basis and document any concerns and relevant actions in a timely manner.
- We act upon any concerns or incidents in a timely manner.
- We carry out risk assessments where relevant to do so.
